National Taiwan Museum

 

National Taiwan Museum, established in 1908, is the oldest museum in Taiwan.

Today, the museum retains the scale it had when it opened. The collection and research continue to focus on the research of anthropology, earth sciences, zoology, and botany. Through themed exhibitions, educational activities, publications, and various cooperation plans, the museum has achieved its educational goal in the society to welcome and serve the public.

Tuesday-Sunday: 9:30 am-5 pm NT$30 Regular│ NT$15 Discount
Closed on Mondays, Chinese New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year’s Day
Open on national and consecutive holidays
Half-price admission for the following visitors with ID (letter)
Students , Children ages 6-12 , Seniors over age 65 on holidays
Public groups of 20 or more persons (online reservation is required one week in advance of the visit date.)

Children under age 6
Seniors over age 65 on weekdays
Physically and mentally disabled citizens with one escort for each
Chinese Museum Association, ICOM, AAM membership card holders
Easycard is available at every branch of NTM.
